All reserve ripcords manufactured by Parachutes Australia are tested to 300lb for over 3 seconds, a TSO requirement.
This device tests the integrity of the handle, cable, pin and ball swage providing our customers reassurance at the “critical moment”.
Talon Owners :
Please provide Talon model,Size and Harness style.
Other System Owners :
Measure from the pin tip to the ball at the handle end.
If you have a 2 pin container we will also need to know the distance between the two pin tips.
- All ripcords produced by Parachutes Australia are manufactured to TS0C 23C which involves proof testing to withstand a straight tension test load of 300lbs applied for 3 seconds. Parachutes Australia also tests ripcords to meet tthe ripcord pin manufacturer, Capewell , Service Bulletin CW03-01 of 15th July 2003
- When ordering a replacement handle for your Talon container system we will need to know your harness style, and your container size.
- Generic Reserve Ripcords to suit standard harness Javelin,Vector, Racer, Mirage ect are also available. When ordering Reserve Ripcors for these systems please provide us with the cable length measurement. This is done by measuring from the pin tip to the ball at the handle end. If you have a 2 pin container we will also need to know the distance between the two pin tips.
