KNIVES Every Skydiver should carry a knife there are some emergency situations where a knife would be considered essential. A knife suitable for skydiving must be compact, easily stowed and removed, and most importantly, have a protected blade. There are two knives designed specifically for skydiving use: ZAC KNIFE A small unobtrusive knife that can be built in to a rig or stowed in a pouch on the chest strap. JACK the RIPPER KNIFE A larger knife with a moulded plastic handle. The blades can be replaced when they become blunt. The Jack Knife can easily be fitted to your chest strap by way of a customised Pouch produced by PA. |
